A chaplain’s role is to offer spiritual guidance, moral support, advice and counselling to all involved within sports. The chaplain’s responsibility varies from organisation to organisation as it is a service offered upon request, and by definition of role from the client.
All of our chaplaincy services are confidential and supported by developing relationships of trust with athletes, their families and organisational staff.
The provisions our chaplains offer are such as, but not limited to;
- Providing emotional and moral lifting support through moments of crisis such as funerals
- Serious injuries
- Debilitating mental strain
- Times of other religious significances such as births and marriages
Our chaplaincy services cater for all, including athletes, their families, organisational staff and supporters.
